Routine maintenance and care, safe operation of crane grabs

1. Maintenance of wire rope

(1) Do not use the wire rope without lubrication, and grease should be added regularly during the work. (2) Each time you replace the new wire C-type steel rope to be repeated lifting and lowering, and into the action load test. (3) Strictly prohibit extrusion, sharp objects touching the wire rope. (4) Wire rope and grab, lugs and other coupling must be reliable, and often check, once found abnormal, immediately be removed. (5) Wire rope in a twist distance broken wire up to the air box to the specified value, or wear and corrosion up to 7% of its nominal diameter, should be replaced immediately.

2. Maintenance and care of lubricated parts

(1) The upper and lower pulley bearings of the grab should be refuelled regularly once a week; (2) The moving parts of the grab should be refuelled regularly once a day; (3) The fasteners should be inspected regularly.

3. To check the connection of each fastener and axle pin regularly, and tighten them in time if they are to be loosened.
